Combi Oven Steamer Request for Proposal

Grain Valley School District is receiving bid proposals for a Combi Oven Steamer for Sni-A-Bar Elementary School as per the Combi Oven Steamer 2021 link below, specifications to be furnished, delivered and fully uncrated as outlined on the bid to the school site.

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Grain Valley School District Administration Building at 31606 East Pink Hill Road, Grain Valley, MO 64029. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: Equipment – Combi Oven Steamer.

Reach-In Refrigerator Request for Proposal

Grain Valley School District is receiving bid proposals for a two-door reach-in refrigerator for Prairie Branch Elementary School as per the Reach-In Refrigerator 2021 link below, specifications to be furnished, delivered and fully uncrated as outlined on the bid to the school site.

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Grain Valley School District Administration Building at 31606 East Pink Hill Road, Grain Valley, MO 64029. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: Equipment –Reach-In Refrigerator.

2020-2021 General Grocery Request for Proposal

The Grain Valley R-5 School District is currently seeking food service bids for the 2021-2022 school year. The District plans to use a “prime vendor” format.   Instructions for the General Grocery RFP and the Market Basket submission for the Prime Vendor Bid can be found below.

The deadline for submitting sealed bids is Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. CST with the formal bid opening at 1:05 p.m. at the district’s central office executive boardroom location. Bids must be sealed and bidder must indicate “GVSD Food Service Bid 2021-2022 School Year” on the outside of the envelope. If the bid is not received by the stated deadline, the bid will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

The contract award will be made on Thursday April 29, 2021. Following the contract award, the details of delivery, billing, ordering, and any other terms of business will be determined in a meeting with those persons directly involved. Deliveries are to begin the week of June 28, 2021.

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Insurance Broker

The Grain Valley School District is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for insurance broker that it believes can best fulfill its needs. The respondents must be able to: (1) Serve as Broker for the Grain Valley School District to handle the placement of the following: Property, Inland Marine, Electronic Data Processing, Systems Breakdown, Cyber Security, Crime, Liability, and Workers’ Compensation insurance for the July 1, 2021 renewal. (2) Serve as Broker to handle the future placement of the above referenced policies, until such time that the services of Broker relationship is terminated. (3) Serve as an active partner of the School District’s overall risk management needs.

  • A complete description of the required scope of services for each task is included in this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) and on the Grain Valley School District website, www.grainvalleyschool.org.

  • Please submit two (2) hard copies and one (1) PDF copy to the school district by 2:00PM February 11, 2021. Questions relating to the RFQ can be submitted to ngooch@gvr5.net. Any late responses will not be accepted.
  • During the evaluation process, the Grain Valley School District reserves the right to request additional information or clarifications from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions. Firms may be requested to make oral presentations as part of the final evaluation process.
  • The Grain Valley School District reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, or to reject any and all proposals, or any portion of any proposal, received in response to this RFQ, upon its determination that such cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the school district. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Grain Valley School District to reimburse firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
  • Responses must be submitted by 2:00PM February 11, 2021. The broker selected to represent the Grain Valley School District will be notified by March 1, 2021. Brokers submitting responses, but not selected, will also be notified.
