At the Thursday, April 16th Board of Education Meeting, Lance Pollard, Dr. Julie Taylor, and Sarah Swartz were sworn in for a three-year term. The Board also selected their officers for the next year. Jared English was elected President, Sarah Swartz is Vice President, and Lance Pollard is secretary. |

| Register for Summer SOAR Before May 3rd! |

Reminder: Summer SOAR Registration is open! Summer school classes are first come, first serve. To avoid being put on the waitlist, you must register your student before May 3rd. Summer SOAR will take place from June 1 to June 26, 2026 and there will be no school on June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth. Students will have the option of bringing their own lunch or eating a school lunch.
Summer school will be held at Prairie Branch Elementary, Stony Point Elementary, and South Middle School for both middle school and high school students.
Hours:
• Elementary (entering Kindergarten to 5th grade): 8:00 am to 2:55 pm
• Middle School (entering 6th grade to 8th grade): 7:30 am to 2:15 pm
• High School (entering 9th grade to 12th grade): 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Summer school classes are first come, first serve, and all students who register after May 3rd will be put on a waitlist.
