    • If you are new to the District or need a replacement ID badge, please email Brittany Adams at Central Office.
    • A new badge will be provided to you at the beginning of each school year at no charge. During each school year, your first replacement badge is free.
    • Subsequent replacement badges during that year will cost $5.00.
    • Remember all employees are required to wear their ID badge at all times they are in or on district property.
    • For building access card and key replacements, please contact the Operations Department at (816) 847-5006.
  • Employee sends the jury duty pay (usually $6.00 per day) to Aaron Hooper at Central Office. Please include a copy of your jury duty check stub showing date(s) of service. You may keep the mileage stipend. Employee will be listed as "working" that day for pay purposes. The absence will not be charged against your sick or personal days once your jury duty pay has been sent to the office. Prompt submission of paperwork will simplify preparation of the payroll.

If you are called for jury duty, please note on your absence sheet or time card "Jury Duty". Thank you for your cooperation.

Please call if you have questions.

  • The Grain Valley R-5 School District will reimburse $75.00 per college credit hour earned up to nine hours to a certified teacher working on his/her Masters Degree per fiscal year. In order to make the reimbursement.

    1. The district must have an official Program of Study signed by the college/university attending in order to verify that the hours are appropriate master’s hours.
    2. The teacher must complete a request for reimbursement form to be approved by the Assistant Superintendent. It usually works best for the teacher to submit that form at the time they enroll for the class.
    3. The teacher must send a grade printout to Human Resources in order to be reimbursed.
    4. Reimbursements will be issued through accounts payable and distributed following the Board meeting it was approved.
  • Frontline Login Credentials

Frontline allows you to create one, single Frontline ID account to access all your roles in all Frontline applications! This means you can use your Frontline ID account to log into the web applications for Absence Management, Professional Growth, Recruiting and Hiring, and any other Frontline applications provided to you by the district.

The Frontline ID account only applies when logging into a Frontline, web-based application. It will not change or replace your phone/PIN combination when calling.

Accessing Absence Management on the Phone

In addition to web-based system accessibility, you can also create absences, manage personal information, check absence reason balances, and more, all over the phone.

To call the Absence Management system, dial 1-800-942-3767. You'll be prompted to enter your ID number (followed by the # sign) and then your PIN number (followed by #).

    Over the phone you can:

    • Create an absence (within the next 30 days) - Press 1
    • Review upcoming absences - Press 3

If you create an absence over the phone, please note the confirmation number that the system assigns the new absence, for future reference.

    Creating an Absence:

You can enter a new absence from your Absence Management home page under the Create Absence tab.

Enter the absence details including the date of the absence, the absence reason, note to the administrator or substitute, etc. and attach any files, if needed.  You can then click Create Absence.
